great quality!
I bought a cheaper shelf, it was awful and didn't want to fit together. I bought this one and it just clicked like Legos, but this one, it's better than the other alternatives.
Very sturdy and goes together pretty easy. My only suggestion, is if you have a larger mallet then definitely use it. The one they provide is a bit small. Dimensions are accurate and it fits will in the space. It's a great choice for the price.
Heavy duty, I bought two of them
Many shelving units don't have solid/flat shelves; they have bars or other openings, but these are smooth and flat. The unit takes a while to assemble but overall, it's not too bad. Mine is holding heavy books and it is fine.
Everything about this unit is thin, the metal, the shelves, the caps for the feet, all of it. You can literally twist the metal uprights back and forth a bit they are so thin. I have a number of these units of different brands that I've purchased over the years and they are all more substantial than this one. Also, the 18" deep does not come with center supports for the shelves, though it could use them. I wouldn't trust this with 150-200 lbs per shelf, much less 400. I have less than 100 lbs. spread out on one shelf and it's bowing a bit in the center already. I've tried to keep the heavier stuff near the edges where the shelves have a bit of support and I'm talking items less than 10-20 lbs each spread around. That being said, I think it will work for what I need it for and it will hold a good bit of lighter items. It went together easily and, once completed, the frame itself seemed fairly sturdy.
Very good product. Would buy again. Went together easily. Functional and versatile. I laughed when I saw the included hammer, but it was actually quite helpful in putting the uprights together and put on the caps at the top and bottom. Instructions were included, and I glanced over them just to make sure there wasn't anything strange.
Easy to put together. very sturdy. Holds a lot of weight. Very happy I made a decision to buy it
Great looking shelves replaced my old rusted out ones. Easy to put together. Hammer and gloves came with the shelf. The suggestion from other reviews of having a 2x4 to bang it into place was spot on. Shelves are stable and easy enough to move around to choose the place you need them at. Curious about the material used for the actual shelf where items sit. If water comes into contact with it, what will happen as it is kind of like a cardboard material. Very happy with our purchase. Everything from the description was spot on.
This is a great metal shelf that we put in our shed. We're using it for various gardening supplies, chainsaws, etc, nothing super heavy, but it's a very sturdy build. The tools they include in the box like the mallet and extra pieces to keep from scratching the floor are nice inclusions. It gave us everything we needed to put it together. It will be perfect for what we're using it for.
These shelves were easy to put together with clear instructions. I would not put as much as 2000 pounds on them, but they will serve the purpose that I purchased them for. I was able to adjust the shelves to my needs as I put the unit together, which I did by myself in a short period of time. I would consider purchasing this unit again if I needed another shelving unit.
Met all my expectations! The construction is sturdy and easily adjustable to accommodate vastly different shelf heights as desired. I have several relatively heavy items as well as multiple liquids throughout and it just stays stable…The solid surface shelves are great as you don’t have to worry about smaller items tipping! As you can see by my pic I immediately stored several items on it and it is rock solid… Not home now to take another pic but I’ve put cases of soda and energy drinks on it since and it just works!THE only thing I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND is at least start putting the base together with another person to help hold the vertical frame pieces while you complete the bottom frame… After the base is completed the rest can easily be assembled by one person…OMG… I had to take an adult beverage break doing it myself after I got the base assembled!!! LOL 😆After that it was a piece of cake ✅HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!When I need more shelving I will certainly use this brand… No complaints 😎⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I purchased these shelving units to replace all the tired, worn out plastic ones in my garage.I just assembled my third shelving unit yesterday and I will be assembling my fourth unit today once it arrives. Here are some things to know about these units:1. They are a tremendous value for what you get.2. Although a second set of hands would be helpful to start the assembly process, us independent types like to go solo. Each unit took me about twenty minutes or less to assemble.3. You can use a larger rubber mallet to make assembly easier, but where's the fun in that? I like a challenge.4. Take your time. Make sure the small part of the vertical post's keyholes are toward the ground when connecting the two together. Is this the voice of experience? Maybe. Maybe not.5. Will these shelves hold 400 pounds each? Probably not, but who is putting 400 pounds on a shelf? Weightlifters? Hans and Franz? I'd be surprised if you put 150 or 200 pounds on a shelf. If you are doing so, put that weight on the bottom one. Put the lighter or long term storage items on top.6. You can easily move the unit around and put it where you want it post assembly, so feel free to assemble it wherever is easier.7. Although the MDF shelving boards are not super thick, they are stronger than you think, so don't overthink it. You can always replace them with plywood down the road if they should start sagging.8. Vevor products may not be the very top of the line, but the small sample of their products I have tried so far have been reliable and made of decent quality.Summary: I have been super happy with this product!! Thanks Vevor!
